Composition of thermal water

Chemical analysis and classification of the thermal waters of the Intendant of Los Baños de Mula according to their temperature and mineralization:

The flow rate of the thermal water is 70 liters/second with a temperature between 38ºC and 39ºC

Mesothermal (between 30º and 50ºC) – Acrothermal (more than 20ºC) – Hypothermal (human body temperature)

Mineralization:

• Sulfated bicarbonate calcium
• (+ one g/l of total mineralization)
• (+ 20% g/l of sulfate, bicarbonate and calcium ions)

Strong mineralization:

• (+ 1500 mg/l dry residue at 110ºC)

Mineralomedicinal (mineralization greater than 1 g/l and temperature > 20ºC)

The therapeutic properties of water are indicated for treatments of the respiratory, digestive, and musculoskeletal systems, especially for skin and bone conditions.
